28.5 acre hobby farm for sale in the kawarthas. 11/2 hours from Toronto.  Nestled between Buckhorn, Sandy and Big Bald Lake.  Very desirable location if you don't care to be on the water. This place is perfect for the person who would like to live with his/her horse (or take your horse on vacation) , start a horticulture business, be small time hobby farmer or artist/artisan.  It would also make a lovely get-away country property for any outdoors enthusiasts as fishing, boating, snowmobiling, hiking, kayaking/canoeing are in immediate area .  Some trails are directly accessible.  It is a short drive or nice hike to the new Kawartha Highlands Signature Park.  House is a basic 1000 sq. ft,  2 bedroom Viceroy with loft and large windows. It is set on a dry crawl space, but could easily be lifted for additional floorspace, or have an addition put on side of house is desired.  It has electric heating and a new propane fireplace (woodstove could be put in).New Cherry laminate flooring in living room and a new steel roof and newer bathroom fixtures are installed.  Taxes are 1550.00 pr year.  With a little TLC this could be the perfect retreat.  There are 2 paddocks with a 16x16 run in barn with haystorage and a second 24x32 barn with an additional hay/equipment storage lean-to.  This barn has its own large paddock.  There is about 4+ acres of pasture in front of this barn, and a sand riding ring area.  20+ acres of woodlot property lie behind the house which is set well off a dead end road the farm fronts on.
