Owner's comments
Welcome to 80 Bayview Road on Ahmic Lake in Ahmic Harbour. This is a classic cottage built in 1997 by Panabode. A western red cedar log cabin that is fully winterized. Just a few moments off highway 124 in Ahmic Harbour with year round access. The privately owned road is plowed to allow full year round access. Located on the west side of Ahmic Lake, boat traffic is minimal. Ahmic Lake is approximately 14 miles long. At the eastern basin in the town of Magnetawan. Locks can be taken at this point into Lake Cecebe. The full navigable waterway runs 42 miles. Neighic and Crawford Lake are accessible via Ahmic. Ahmic Lake is a highly sought after lake that is just minutes north of the Muskokas. Waterfront exposure is Northwest and full walkout basement. Excellent fishing for Small Mouth Bass, Large Mouth Bass, Perch, Pike and Walleye. Great smelt run in the spring. Easy access to snowmobile trails.
Northerly exposure does not mean the property is always shaded. In fact, we have sun all day by the dock and the beach. You can sit on the dock at sunrise and have sun all day right until the sunset. The sun, mid day, is just a little behind the cottage, but high, so the shadier areas tend to be a few feet directly in front of the cottage. That's great for us since it gives us some cool areas to move to.
The sunsets are beautiful from the dock.
